“ Hayward has always been a pass through town for me, that is until Brosco Bill and his little stab Coco de Avante told me about PickADeli. They claimed its the best deli in the bay area! Well....Thats a pretty tall statement, so I left my little hamlet of Napa and made the trek to Hayward to see for myself. When I get a request to visit a new deli I always order the same thing, a simple ham sandwich, and leave the rest up to the maker. I got my sando, and it was perfectly prepared, an even distribution of meat, perfect amounts of mayo and the dijon was well balanced, the sliced sourdough was a great accompaniment as were the chips and a crisp kosher pickle. Is PickADeli the best deli in the bay area...No, Is it in the top 10, ...Yes! 5 stars ”
